E6 Connect costs $300/yr (Basic, 27 owned + ~12 rotating courses) or $600/yr (Expanded, ~100 courses) and runs on both PC and iOS — it is the better fit if you own a SkyTrak+, want iPad play, or need the widest official hardware list. If you own a Bushnell Launch Pro, both platforms work but each needs its own paid device-side tier (GSPro needs Foresight/Bushnell's Gold subscription at ~$499/yr; E6 needs Gold/Unlocked plus a separate E6 license). GSPro pricing
GSPro costs a flat $250 per year (per gsprogolf.com, verified 2026-09-12). There is no monthly plan, no free trial, and no lifetime license — one subscription unlocks everything, including the full community course library and multiplayer. GSPro has no internal "Gold" or "Premium" tier of its own; where you see "GSPro requires Gold" in a compatibility note (e.g. on the Bushnell Launch Pro), that Gold tier belongs to the launch monitor's own software (Foresight FSX), not to GSPro.
E6 Connect pricing
E6 Connect pricing is not published on trugolf.com (the page requires login to see price), but resellers consistently list two tiers: Basic at $300/year (27 owned courses plus a rotating selection of roughly 12 more) and Expanded at $600/year (access to the full non-Premium library, roughly 100 courses). Individually licensed Premium courses — Pebble Beach, St Andrews, Spanish Bay — run an additional $15–30 each. A separate Commercial/Clubhouse subscription exists for multi-bay venues, but its price is not publicly listed.
E6 APEX — a related but distinct product
TruGolf also sells E6 APEX, a newer photorealistic-rendering engine, with its own tiers: Improve ($150/yr), Enjoy ($450/yr, bundling Play+Improve), and Apex Expanded ($450/yr). Whether APEX fully replaces E6 Connect "Home"/"Commercial" tiers or runs alongside them as a separate product line could not be confirmed from a single authoritative source as of 2026-09-12 — TruGolf's own site mixes the naming across pages. If APEX vs. Connect classic matters for your purchase, confirm directly with TruGolf before buying.
Course Libraries
GSPro currently lists 2,500+ community-built courses. E6 Connect Expanded gives roughly 100 professionally-built courses (Basic gives 27 owned + ~12 rotating). E6 APEX marketing separately cites 15,000+ 4K-rendered courses, though that figure is unverified from a primary source and applies to APEX, not classic E6 Connect.
GSPro's course count has grown since our last guide update — gsprogolf.com now shows 2,500+ courses (up from roughly 2,000 previously), all community-created via the Open Course Designer. Quality varies by course, but volume and variety are GSPro's clearest advantage over E6's smaller, professionally-curated library. E6 Connect trades volume for polish: its ~100-course Expanded library is built by TruGolf's own team rather than the community, which shows in consistency but not in raw count.
Hardware Compatibility by Device
GSPro officially lists 31 supported devices on gsprogolf.com. E6 Connect advertises "18+ launch monitors" without a full public per-model list. The table below covers the launch monitors we review where both platforms' compatibility status is independently verified.

PC, iPad, and Platform Requirements
GSPro runs on Windows 10/11 only (64-bit), built on Unity, with a recommended RTX 3070 for 4K. E6 Connect runs on both PC (Windows) and iOS — no Android support on either platform.
GSPro has no iPad or tablet mode of any kind — it is a Windows desktop application, full stop. If cross-platform or iPad play is a requirement for your setup, E6 Connect's "PC or iOS" support is the deciding factor regardless of price, since GSPro simply does not offer that option.
Multiplayer, Graphics, and Practice Modes
GSPro's community multiplayer runs through Simulator Golf Tour (SGT). E6 Connect's online play is more limited by comparison. Neither platform's putting-specific practice modes or update cadence could be independently re-verified for this update — treat those details as unchanged from our existing coverage until confirmed.

Does Foresight Sports Premier Change Anything? (#78)
Foresight Sports Premier — announced to replace both FSX 2020 and FSX Play — is in public beta as of August 2026, but its tiers and pricing are not yet published. It does not currently change GSPro or E6 Connect compatibility for Foresight/Bushnell hardware.
Foresight confirmed (per its Help Center article and preview coverage) that Premier unifies practice and course play under one platform with new graphics, that perpetual FSX-license owners (GC3/GCQuad/Launch Pro buyers) will get the lowest tier automatically, and that purchased courses/content carry over. Tier names and prices remain unannounced as of 2026-09-12. Until Foresight publishes final pricing, we are not changing any GSPro/E6 Connect compatibility guidance for Foresight-powered hardware — see GitHub issue #78 for the tracking context.
Which Should You Choose?
GSPro wins on price and course volume for Windows-only PC builders. E6 Connect wins on cross-platform support and official SkyTrak+ compatibility. Most buyers with hardware that supports both should pick based on platform (PC vs. iPad) and budget, not features.
Budget-conscious PC builder
GSPro. At $250/yr flat with no tiers, it is the cheaper option over any multi-year horizon and gives you the largest raw course count, provided your launch monitor is on GSPro's official 31-device list or has a working community bridge.
SkyTrak+ owner
E6 Connect. SkyTrak+ is not on GSPro's official device list — GSPro access is community-connector-only via OpenSkyPlus 2 — while E6 Connect is officially supported (after SkyTrak's own Essential subscription). If official support matters more than price, E6 Connect is the safer pick for this device.
iPad / cross-platform player
E6 Connect, by default — GSPro has no iPad mode at all. If you specifically want tablet play alongside a PC, E6 Connect's "PC or iOS" support is the only option between these two platforms.
Commercial simulator bay operator
Neither answer is clear-cut without a direct quote. E6 Connect's Commercial/Clubhouse subscription is built for multi-bay remote management but its pricing is not public — request a quote from TruGolf. GSPro has no equivalent commercial tier; some bays run standard GSPro licenses per station instead, which can undercut E6's commercial pricing depending on volume. Get quotes for both before committing at commercial scale.
