What Commercial & Premium Golf Simulators Cost (2026)
By GolfSimulatorSource Editorial Team | Updated:
Commercial-grade golf simulators mostly run on a "contact for quote" model — only a handful of brands publish a real number. HD Golf's Standard package lists at $45,000 (indoorgolfpros.com). aboutGOLF's Flatscreen shows three different "starting at" prices ($27,800 / $37,900 / $46,500) on its own site; its Curve model is a consistent $69,500. Golfzon, Full Swing's commercial line, and TrackMan 4 unit pricing are all quote-only. Opening a bay yourself averages $45,000 in build-out capital (NGF), while franchising with X-Golf requires $993,500–$1,939,500 in total investment.
Why Most Commercial Simulator Brands Hide Their Prices
Commercial golf simulator vendors sell through a B2B sales process, not a retail one — most require a phone call or site visit before quoting a number, which is why "contact for quote" (CFQ) dominates this market.
Home launch monitors and prosumer simulators — the products we review elsewhere on this site — are sold like consumer electronics: one SKU, one listed price, click to buy. Commercial installations are sold more like commercial kitchen equipment or dental office hardware: the final price depends on room dimensions, screen size, projector tier, software licensing, installation labor, and service contracts, so vendors quote deal-by-deal rather than publish a single number. That is a legitimate business reason, not necessarily a red flag — but it does mean a buyer researching "how much does a Golfzon simulator cost" online will mostly find third-party guesses rather than a real answer.
Below, every row is labeled Published, CFQ, or Dealer-reported so you know exactly what kind of number you're looking at. A Published price comes directly from a manufacturer or authorized dealer's own current site, with the date we checked it. CFQ means no public price exists at all — anything you see cited elsewhere for that product is a third-party estimate, not a manufacturer number. Dealer-reported means resellers or industry commentary cite a figure the manufacturer itself does not publish; treat those as directional, not exact.
Commercial Golf Simulator Pricing by Brand
HD Golf is the one brand in this set with a clean, current, published price. Everyone else is either fully CFQ or publishes multiple conflicting numbers on the same page.
| System | Published Price / CFQ | What It Includes | Source + Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| HD Golf — Standard package | $45,000 (Published) | Frame + impact screen, LCD projector, HP workstation, IST computer-vision tracking, touchscreen display, PC enclosure, hitting mat + tee, carpet, curtains, 250W audio | indoorgolfpros.com, checked 2026-09-13 |
| aboutGOLF Flatscreen | $27,800–$46,500 (Published, but inconsistent — see note below) | Minimum room: 13' × 10'6" × 18'7" | aboutgolf.com/commercial-golf-simulators, checked 2026-09-13 |
| aboutGOLF Curve | $69,500 (Published, consistent) | Minimum room: 15' × 9' × 18'6", optional 4K projection | aboutgolf.com/commercial-golf-simulators, checked 2026-09-13 |
| Golfzon TwoVision / Vision Premium | Contact for quote (CFQ) | No public price on any Golfzon page; third-party retailer estimates circulate widely but are not confirmed by Golfzon | golfzongolf.com/compare, checked 2026-09-13 |
| Full Swing Pro 2.0 (commercial) | Contact for quote (CFQ) | A commonly cited "$54,900" figure could not be confirmed on any current Full Swing domain — the "for business" page now 404s | fullswingsports.eu/simulator-for-business, checked 2026-09-13 |
| TrackMan 4 (launch monitor unit) | CFQ from TrackMan; $21,495–$25,495 Dealer-reported | Launch monitor only — no enclosure, screen, or PC | trackman.com/golf/launch-monitors/trackman-4 (checked 2026-09-13, no price shown); dealer figures per golferlogic.com and simgolfer.com, unconfirmed by TrackMan |
| TruGolf Apogee / Vista | CFQ on main site; shop bundles $18,000–$29,000 (Apogee), from $2,999–$13,495 (LaunchBox) | Apogee bundles include MAX or MAX 4K simulator + E6 Connect; LaunchBox bundle adds a Starter 10 (2025) enclosure | trugolf.com/simulators (CFQ) and shop.trugolf.com (bundle prices), checked 2026-09-13 |
The aboutGOLF Discrepancy: Three Prices, One Page
This is worth calling out explicitly rather than quietly picking one number: aboutgolf.com/commercial-golf-simulators shows three different "starting at" prices for the same Flatscreen product, on the same URL, on the same day we checked it. We are not aggregating conflicting sources here — this inconsistency exists entirely on aboutGOLF's own site.
| Location on Page | Price Shown | Model |
|---|---|---|
| Hero section | $27,800 | Flatscreen (general reference, model not clearly tied to price) |
| Flatscreen product card | $37,900 | aG Flatscreen |
| FAQ answer ("How much is a professional golf simulator?") | $46,500 | aG Flatscreen |
| Curve product card + FAQ | $69,500 | aG Curve (the only figure that is consistent across the page) |
What Actually Drives Installation Price
The unit price in the table above is rarely the final number a business pays — bay build-out, commercial software licensing, and ongoing service typically add far more than the hardware itself.
Bay build-out — framing, flooring, electrical, HVAC, sound treatment, and finish carpentry around the simulator hardware — is usually the largest line item most buyers underestimate. We track this in detail on our Golf Simulator Statistics page: the National Golf Foundation's April 2025 white paper (354 operators surveyed) puts average per-bay capital expenditure at $45,000, which is close to or exceeds the hardware cost of several systems in the table above. See that page for the full breakdown, including F&B revenue uplift and typical payback period — we won't duplicate those figures here.
Commercial software licensing is a separate, recurring cost most buyers don't see coming from the hardware price alone. GSPro, E6 Connect, and TrackMan Performance Studio all price differently for a multi-bay commercial venue than for a single home license, and none of the three vendors publish a flat commercial rate publicly — it is negotiated per venue, similar to the hardware itself. Budget for this as an ongoing operating cost, not a one-time purchase.
Service and maintenance contracts are the third factor: commercial installations run far more hours per day than a home simulator, so projector bulbs, screen material, and tracking calibration wear faster and get serviced under contract rather than DIY. None of the vendors in this table publish service contract pricing either — it is quoted alongside the initial installation.
Opening a Simulator Business: Franchise vs. Independent
A franchise like X-Golf requires $993,500–$1,939,500 in total investment per its own FDD; a single independent bay, using the NGF's per-bay build-out figure, is a different order of magnitude — roughly $45,000 in hardware and build-out alone before real estate, staffing, or F&B.
Franchise investment ranges and small independent-lounge build-out costs are not directly comparable line items — franchises bundle real estate, brand licensing, turnkey design, and often a full bar/restaurant build into one FDD-disclosed number, while a per-bay figure is hardware and build-out only. Both are covered below, kept clearly separate.
Franchise Investment Ranges
X-Golf's franchise page lists a $40,000 franchise fee (its 2024 FDD shows a lower fee for additional locations) and $993,500–$1,939,500 total investment, sourced from its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD 2024). A separate franchise-data aggregator (vettedbiz.com), citing what it describes as a newer 2025 FDD, lists a different range — $1,132,630–$1,757,800 — alongside a 7% royalty plus 1% marketing fee and $260,000 minimum liquid capital. We could not independently confirm which FDD year is current as of this writing; treat the aggregator figure as a plausible newer alternative rather than a correction.
Five Iron Golf publishes a franchise program, but we could not independently reverify its current total investment range in this pass — Golf Digest's 2023 announcement article, which cited "at least $1.4M," returned a bot-blocked HTTP 403 on refetch (2026-09-13). That figure is now more than two years old and should be treated as historical context, not a current number; contact Five Iron Golf's franchise team directly for the current FDD range.
Franchise entry fees and royalty structures change between FDD filings, sometimes year to year. Always request the current FDD directly from the franchisor before treating any published range as final.
Independent Bay Build-Out (Non-Franchise)
Multiplying the NGF's average $45,000 per-bay build-out figure (see Golf Simulator Statistics) across a small 4-bay independent lounge suggests roughly $180,000 in hardware and build-out capital alone — before rent, staffing, licensing, or any food-and-beverage buildout, which typically add substantially more on top. That is why a franchise's total investment figure and a per-bay hardware estimate can look wildly different even though both describe "opening a simulator business": the franchise number bundles far more into a single disclosed figure.

Commercial-Grade at Home: The Closest Alternative
Several of the launch monitors we've reviewed are the same hardware commercial venues actually install — you don't always need a $45,000+ commercial system to get commercial-grade tracking.
Some of the technology behind these commercial installations is the same hardware used in serious home and studio setups — the difference is the enclosure, screen, and room build-out around it, not always the tracking core itself. If your interest in commercial simulator pricing is really about "can I get this level of accuracy at home," these are the closest matches from our own reviews.
